Channel Audio has officially changed its name to Channel AV. The new name brings our identity in line with the work we already do for events across Nashville and Middle Tennessee.
The new name better reflects the full range of services we provide, but the company itself has not changed. We’re still the same locally-owned AV rental company with the same team and approach. Audio remains a major part of our work, while TV displays, projection, on-site support and complete audio-visual setups have become an equally important part of what clients rely on us to provide.
If you’ve worked with us before, your contact information, existing quotes and confirmed bookings remain exactly the same. The only difference is the name you’ll now see on our website, social profiles, quotes and vehicles. There’s nothing existing clients need to rebook, replace or update.
You may continue to see the Channel Audio name in a few places while online listings, search results and older materials are updated. Both names refer to the same company.
Why We Changed Our Name to Channel AV
When we started in 2016, the name fit the work. Most events called for PA systems, speakers, microphones and mixing equipment. Audio was at the center of nearly every setup.
As the business grew, our clients began asking for more than sound.
Companies needed large TV displays for meetings, conferences and trade show booths. Event planners asked for projector screens for presentations and video content. Wedding clients wanted sound for a ceremony and a display for a reception slideshow.
Before long, audio and visual equipment were regularly being used together as part of the same event.
The name Channel Audio no longer reflected everything we were bringing to the venue. Sound remains a major part of the business, but TVs, projector screens and presentation systems have become just as essential.
Channel AV better represents the company today. It reflects our full range of audio and visual services, and it gives clients a clearer understanding of what they can call us for before they ever request a quote.
A New Website for Channel AV
Along with the name change, we launched a completely rebuilt website featuring the new Channel AV branding and a more polished, modern experience.
Our new site gives clients a clearer look at the many services we provide with updated information about our equipment, event types and service process.
We designed the site to make planning easier from the beginning. Clients can learn how delivery, setup and teardown work, review our frequently asked questions and provide the event details we need to recommend the right equipment.
What Hasn’t Changed
Our goal has always been to make event AV easier for the client. That still starts with listening to what the event needs, suggesting a practical setup and handling the equipment details from start to finish.
We deliver the equipment to your venue, set it up and test it before the event begins. When the event is finished, we return to take everything down and remove it. Your team doesn’t need to pick up equipment, figure out the wiring or return anything afterward.
We continue to build each setup around the event rather than offering the same package to everyone. The right system depends on the venue, guest count, room layout and type of content being presented, for example:
- Small wedding ceremonies may need one speaker and a wireless microphone.
- Corporate conferences may need multiple speakers, several microphones, a digital mixer and presentation displays.
- Trade show booths may only need a large TV display and a simple laptop connection.

Our service area generally extends within about 50 miles of Nashville. Clients planning events outside the immediate area can still reach out so we can review the location and availability.
The Same Company Moving Forward
Changing our name from Channel Audio to Channel AV is a meaningful step, but it doesn’t change who we are.
We’re still the same company that’s supported hundreds of events across Nashville. We still focus on straightforward recommendations, dependable equipment and making sure every detail is handled before guests arrive.
The new name simply gives clients a clearer picture of what we provide.
